About Me

My clients value the depth of the work we do.

“Lynda is like a business analyst for the soul!”

– Patricia Regan – Director, Strategic Alignment

Yes, we work on career goals such as pursuing a C-suite position, raising your profile within your firm, producing higher-quality work more consistently, and making your presence felt in meetings.

But that is only the surface of the work.

We also explore who you are, what matters to you, what motivates you, and how you can support yourself from the inside out.

This deeper work is where real transformation begins.

About Lynda Hoffman

This is me!

I’m curious about everything related to human growth, suffering and resilience.

I have an insatiable interest in politics, history, and philosophy. I believe they shape the psychological footprint we leave behind wherever we go. I also believe we have a sacred responsibility to be at our best so that we can contribute meaningfully to our communities.

I’m driven to find practical solutions that help us live more meaningful and peaceful lives. I’ve learned that mind-body practices, science, and spirituality all have a place in human development. Holism is more than a modality to me. It is a value. Our best answers often emerge when we ask bigger questions without preconceived ideas about what the answer should be.

Once I set a goal, I’m determined to follow through. Some might call that discipline. I call it fortitude. Life has thrown me many curveballs, but I remain focused on what matters most.

I’m passionate about the responsibility we all share to do no harm. We belong to one another. We are connected, and together we shape our collective reality.

My Training

MCC logo 150I am a Master Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. This is the highest credential recognized in the coaching profession, and it reflects my commitment to human-centered practices.

My curiosity about human behavior initially led me to earn a degree in Political Science from McGill University, where I graduated with distinction. I still smile when I think about the many hours I spent reading about revolution, constitutional law, advocacy, and human rights. I remain fascinated by these subjects today.

I wanted to understand why capable adults sometimes remain in painful situations long after those situations have stopped serving them. What helps adults learn, change, and grow?

I began my professional coaching education at Concordia University and continued training with highly experienced coaches for more than 15 years.

I also completed training in “Immunity to Change” at Harvard University to deepen my understanding of why intelligent people sometimes do the opposite of what they know is best for them.

My role as a director at a private college gave me valuable administrative experience. It also allowed me to develop policies and procedures to support students at high risk of failing.

I’ve been invited to speak at ADHD awareness events and local hospitals about coaching, executive functioning, and ADHD. I also completed a 12-week brain science program through the Brain Academy in Brussels.

In my search for practical solutions for both myself and my clients, I pursued mindfulness training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I have a deep respect for Eastern psychology, particularly when it is grounded in Buddhist philosophy.

It all starts with a conversation. Tell me your story and what’s on your mind. Hear my voice, and we’ll take it from there.

How I work with my clients' fear about change

I work with clients who are willing to move forward even when they feel afraid.

Fear is not a reason to hold back. Nor is it evidence that you will fail.

It is a natural response to stepping into unfamiliar territory.

When you pursue a C-suite position, work toward becoming a more confident leader, or try to improve your relationships, vulnerability is inevitable. Anyone bold enough to reach for something meaningful will experience discomfort and uncertainty along the way.

After all, you’re changing the status quo.

My clients tell me that being heard in a safe space, without being rushed through their feelings, helps them develop greater compassion for themselves. That self-compassion allows them to reconnect with their own insight and creativity. They find renewed energy and determination when they need it most.

Through my own work with a coach, I learned how thoughtful, unhurried conversations could both challenge and support me. They changed the way I spoke to myself. I kept showing up, moving forward, wobbling, and showing up again.

Everything changed for me. It can for you too.

Signing up with me

When You’re Ready:

My practice is intentionally structured to create meaningful shifts that help you put new ways of thinking and being into practice.

My clients often achieve more than they initially expected. Their reviews offer a window into what is possible when we work together as a team.

When you’re ready, the first step is a conversation with me.

My Process for Signing Up:

If it appears that I can support you, I’ll invite you to a Zoom conversation lasting up to 90 minutes. There is no fee for this meeting.

We’ll discuss your objectives and establish clear measures of success so you can track your progress if we decide to work together.

We’ll meet at least once more before making a full commitment. I want you to experience the depth of this work before deciding whether it is right for you.

My Structure:

When we both feel ready to begin this journey, you’ll have the option of working with me for six months or one year, depending on your individual needs.

During either program, we’ll meet approximately three times per month. You’ll also have unlimited email access to me for real-time coaching support.

All sessions are held through Zoom. Virtual coaching offers meaningful benefits, particularly when ADHD is part of the conversation.
