Work with Me
My clients value the depth of the work we do.
Yes, we work on career goals such as pursuing a C-suite position, raising your profile in your firm, delivering higher quality work more consistently, and taking your professional space in meetings.
But all this is the surface of the work.
We also dive into who you are, what matters to you, what drives you, and how you can support yourself from the inside out.
It’s this deeper exploration that will transform you.

About Lynda Hoffman
This is me!
I’m curious – about everything related to human suffering and human resilience.
I’m insatiable when it comes to politics, history, and philosophy. I believe they form the basis for the type of psychological footprint we leave behind us wherever we go. I believe we have a sacred duty to be at our best, so that we contribute to our communities.
I’m driven to find practical solutions that help us live meaningful and peaceful lives. I’ve learned that mind-body modalities, science and spirituality are all relevant to human development. Holism is not just a modality, but a value. Our best answers are always found when we ask the bigger questions without pre-conceived ideas about what we ‘think’ the answer is.
I’m determined to reach my goals once I’ve set a course. Some might call that discipline. I call it fortitude. Life can throw curveballs and I’ve experienced many. But I stay focused on what’s most important.
I’m passionate about the responsibility we all carry to do no harm to others. We belong to each other. We are not separate. And we create our collective reality.
My Training
My curiosity about human patterns initially led me to complete a degree in Political Science at McGill University, graduating with distinction. I still smile at the hours and hours I spent reading about revolution, constitutional law, advocacy, and human rights. And I love it all to this day!
I was curious about why capable adults continue in painful situations much longer than was good for them. What was the secret to how adults learn and grow?
I started my training as a professional coach at Concordia University (Montreal) and continued with high level coaches in both Canada and the U.S. for more than 15 years.
I completed a training in “Immunity to Change” at Harvard University to dive into why smart people do the opposite of what they know is best for themselves.
My Directorship at a private college gave me valuable administrative experience and an opportunity to create policies and procedures in support of students at high risk of failing.
I’ve been invited to speak on several occasions at the Canadian ADHD Awareness Alliance (CADDRA) and local hospitals about coaching, executive functioning and ADHD.
In my pursuit of practical solutions for myself and my clients, I chose mindfulness training with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I have a deep respect for Eastern psychology when it’s combined with Buddhist philosophy.
Currently, I am in the process of applying for my Masters Certified Coaching accreditation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
It all starts with a conversation. Tell me your story and what’s on your mind.
Hear my voice and we’ll take it from there.
How I work with my clients' fear about change
I work with clients who are willing to forge ahead even when they feel afraid.
Fear is not a reason to take your next step. It is not evidence you may fail.
It’s a natural response to wading into unknown waters.
When you want to step toward a C-Suite position, become a more confident leader or improve your relationships, you will feel vulnerable. This is true for all of us who have been bold enough to stretch toward what we want. Discomfort and uncertainty are part of the journey.
After all, you’re attempting to change the status quo!
My clients tell me that when they’re heard in a safe space that does not rush them out of their feelings, they can learn to be compassionate with themselves. And when they’re compassionate with themselves, they tap into their own inner brilliance and inspiration. They find renewed energy and determination when they need it most.

Working with my own coach, I know that our slowed down conversations both challenged and supported me – and changed how I spoke to myself. I continued to show up, press on, wobble, and show up again.
Everything changed for me. It will for you too.
Signing up with me
When You’re Ready:
My practice is deliberately structured to bring about transformative shifts so you can implement new ways of being, effectively.
My clients succeed – usually beyond what they expected. My reviews will give you a window into how effective my method is when we work as a team.
When you’re ready, the first step is a conversation with me.

My Process for Signing Up:
If it looks like I can serve you, I’ll invite you to a Zoom call of up to 1.5 hours. There is no fee at this point.
We’ll explore your objectives and create success metrics so you can measure your progress if we choose to work together down the road.
We’ll meet at least one more time before we fully commit to each other. I want you to feel the depth of the work before committing.
My Structure:
When we both feel excited to go on this journey together, you’ll have the option to work with me for either six months or one year – depending on your individual needs.
During either period, we’ll meet approximately 3 times per month. You’ll have unlimited access to me by email for coaching in real time.
All sessions are held via Zoom. There are significant benefits to coaching via Zoom when ADHD is involved.
