Executive coaching is a process for developing internal growth for external results.
Executive leaders get to meet in a safe setting to clarify goals and identify what’s blocking those goals from becoming reality. The ultimate objective is to shift the executive leader’s behaviour so that it’s aligned with what they most want to create.
The coach’s role is to support the client in becoming deeply self-aware, clear about what they’re working towards, and strategic inside themselves – and outside in their organization. The coach is neutral. They have zero vested interest in the organization or its politics. Their sole concern is that the executive leader learns deeply, developing new areas of self-trust, awareness and agency.

Why would I need a professional coach?
Who you are and how you show up will always be the determining factor in how successful you are. Your expertise in your field is helpful, but it’s not enough to ensure your success. The value added that you want to bring to your organization begins inside of you.
Deeply rooted patterns of behaviour drive all human beings. And we’re wired not to spot them. Most daily decisions, judgments and learnings occur largely outside of conscious awareness. For executive leaders who have considerable responsibilities, accurate self-awareness becomes critical to efficient and goal directed behaviours. Memories distort reality and not all our thoughts are accurate or helpful.
So what can you rely on?
Crisp, non-judgmental self-awareness is everything. It supports you in acting on what is salient (and accurate) rather than on an unconscious perception.
Executive Coaching with Lynda
My expertise is in executive functioning (EF), the brain- based skills for doing what you know to do. EF is all about performance and how the brain works. I can support you in understanding how your own EF impacts your outcomes.
Performance is all about understanding the motor behind your actions – and being mindfully aware of how best to direct your energies.
